I might be posting in the wrong section so apologise in advance.

Just looking at properties in Camposol and can't believe how cheap they are? What's wrong with the place? Is there a problem with the area?

What price bracket are you looking at...what do you call cheap...I have just done a price comparison with The  Roldan region of Spain that you are in and like for like  properties are approximately the same price.

Camposol represents excellent value for money compared to other locations which all benefit from the same sunshine.

Yes there are some areas of difficulty which probably can be said for all locations

If you have a negative outlook on life generally no doubt you carry that baggage where ever you go

Murcia is generally amazing value for money. If you check out Mazarron you find 4 bedroom houses for €150k or less ☺

There are houses from £50k, I just can't believe how cheap.

Tony I'm certainly not negative, I was just wondering.

You can buy a large  3 bed 3 bathroom  detached neptuno with a pool on a 300 MTR plot for around €140,000 =£125,000 ...you can also buy the  same villa without a pool for around €15,000 less amazing value ...sell your 2 bed terrace house in the UK and come over and live the dream.

Hi,

We heard the same when we started looking in May of this year, but quickly realised nothing was wrong.

All areas in any country will have problems, look at London now!!!!

We found the community fantastic, property great, yes there was a bad name caused by the builder, and we were shown the problem properties, but it was minimal, and of course you would not buy in that area.

We loved it all so much, we have bought a retirement home, and move in October.

There will be lots of residents who can advise you more, those who have lived there for years, so I hope they will contact you.

Good luck.
