No , but the house I am buying in Camposol does , so I have been doing my homework .. They do seem to be a very cost effective way of heating . The pellet bags are much easier to store than logs and produce way less ash . They can also be programmed for temperature and ignition . 

I am no expert , but it all looks good .. 

Any idear of the costs of having one installed.? 

No , sorry as this is already installed . You will need a flue obviously. The costs of the appliances vary . I’m hoping someone will jump in here with some real costs for you , price of installation etc . Start a thread about pellet burners ..you will get all the facts .

We had a Pellet burner installed late last year and do not regret it at all.

Much cleaner than a log burner and easier to manage. It's also easier to get a fairly consistent quality in fuel supply. Logs can be very hit & miss. 

Slight downside is that it has a built in fan & electronic timer & safety features, so if the electricity goes off, it shuts down.

All in installation cost was about 1800 Euros

Hi to solve the problem of the fire shutting down when the electric goes off we bought a UPS uninterrupted power supply, depending on the type you buy it will supply electricity to the fire for any thing from 15 mins the one we bought gave us 40 mins

That's a good idea. Why didn't I think of that I ask myself. Given what I did for a living before I retired, it should have been obvious.
