Hi, we have our lateral flow tests booked for next week at the Farmacia in Isla Plana. Has anyone used this service before? Just wondering what the procedure is - do you administer the test yourself under supervision or does a member of pharmacy staff administer it?

Many Thanks

My wife and had tests a fortnight ago. You have to go to the door to the right of the main pharmacy to a waiting room. The man who did the tests took our passports away and then came back several minutes later with one of the testing sticks. My wife went to take the stick off him but he shoved it up her nose without warning- he only did one nostril and didn’t put it in the back of her throat at all. He then went back behind his screen and came back with another testing stick which he shoved up both of my nostrils but at least I knew what was coming. Again he did not test the back of my throat.

He came back several minutes later with our passports and asked us to pay. He then came back almost immediately with the test certificates. The whole process took about 10 minutes

Hi, we just called into the Farmacia and booked directly with a member of staff. The opening hours are 9am-2pm then 6pm-9pm. You need your passports to book the tests. The diary looked very full when she was booking us in. Not sure about the phone number but I guess you could google it. The member of staff I spoke to in the Farmacia had good English. Hope that helps.

I booked from the UK online using their website. Very helpful, but looking at some of the answers on here I'm not looking forward to having it done!
