Yes it is true.

Reported on Murcia Today News, with pictures. The restaurant faces a massive fine that hopefully will be implemented.

I also hope the individuals concerned are also fined

Stupid ignorant people like this put us all at risk.

Roland

For once I agree with you... yes they all should be fined.

Saw the pictures and think the bloke who reported the incident to the police was correct

However, seems to me that the Chinese was as much as fault and simply needed to have 2 tables and then would probably have complied with the rules

Nothing but stupidity and selfishness on all sides

Assuming the posting on Murcia Today is true, how does this make the group of ladies "stupid" and/or "ignorant" and how is their eating in a restaurant in a group, putting anybody at risk? I realise that they are taking the risk of being fined but if they can afford to pay, this doesn't mean they are either ignorant or stupid.

They are breaking the local rules so are stupid as they open themselves to a fine. The fact that they may be able to pay the is irrelevant

A bit of common sense and working with the restaurant could mean more people could attend, simply space the tables out with a maximum of 6 people. They could them get up, with a mask, and talk to other tables if they wanted

And all it takes is for one of those idiotic women to test positive and there could be a massive spike, with all of them and all their families and the people that have been in contact with any of them isolating, and hoping that their barmy action does not kill anyone.

Yes, the reports are true. In fact they published on face book, what a good time they had! So, yes, they are known. And yes, it was criminally stupid to ignore the requirements for social distancing. The person who contacted the police, said he was uncomfortable with the amount of people in the restaurant.  Which must mean it was packed. So, are you happy with the fact that these women went to a restaurant,  which was busy. No social distancing. Air con on, and they are going to come back to Camposol ??? Do you know the average age of Camposolians? They are a very vulnerable group. The fact that they may be able to pay the fine is ridiculous. Do you think it should be one rule for those with money, and a different rule for the rest??  They may have bought Covid onto Camposol. Which is unforgivable.

Yup!

With the nose exposed, the mask is almost useless.

The numbers of people claiming that they have medical issues and that masks cause breathing difficulties & thus deliberately avoiding using them, is also worrying.

1. I was unaware that there were so many people with COPD on Camposol.

2. They would be PRECISELY the kind of person who would be most at risk from Covid-19

3. In a person with good respiration, masks do NOT interfere with breathing and O2 saturation levels, neither do they cause a build up of CO2 in the bloodstream. If one has good Oxygen saturation (95% +) then the CO2 levels are going to be normal.

Load of tosh.. or should that be tish.
