I recently rented a car for 3 months from a local car hire company. I will never rent another from them despite the comparatively low cost. Didn’t expect a new car, and certainly didn’t get one. No hub caps, shabby both inside and out, smelling of urine from back seat, and alarmingly needed 2 litres of oil in the sump to get it onto the dipstick, the sump capacity is 3.4 litres, so the car I was given was ready to sieze up anytime. The owner said they were having trouble finding reliable maintenance people. Be warned, check the car over before leaving the car park no matter how late and tired you are.

Bit pointless issuing a warning & not naming the company.
Once again,someone making a statement, without naming the company !!
If you want to post about bad service, at least have the decency to name the supplier please.

Point of you posting is to avoid others making the same mistake.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience, and wouldn't like the same, you must be furious and I don't blame you.
To stop this happening you must name and shame, otherwise this person is going to continue to make people's holiday ECT a nightmare.
It has to stop, and you could make that difference.
Think about it, supposing it was your children put in that position far from home with no or little knowledge of cars and they got stranded in the middle of nowhere.
Your choice to name them if your brave enough, if not, I hope you sleep well knowing people could be seriously in trouble through no fault of thier own.

You really need to speek directly with Shirley Cox....new owner!!
She took it over sometime ago..and its now known as (Camposol Car Hire) I believe? The signage hasn't been changed by shirley and it was owned/run by Fernando Jeminez...it was the same then...when I worked for him..I finished in August 2019....not sure when Shirley took over.
Hope you get this resolved....its putting lives at risk !!!

Can you give me more information from your post please.
Always looming for services from cab firms.
Might not always suit for one reason or the other.
Signage is one thing if they have the same cars it doesn't cure the problem.
I'm quite happy for you to PM me on this subject.
Only because I don't want somebody who's trying to start a buissnes fall flat on their face.
