Hi, we drove over mid September and thought same as you that we'd need to fill a declaration form in same as when we'd flown over in July.  But we didn't need anything, just had passports checked at UK side of Chunnel then nothing else.

Hi, we travelled over in mid-September & had same problem coming into France & Spain; no rules for overland travellers. We printed off a form for France and it WAS checked at Folkestone by French controls. No problem there. We also had a form for Spain but there was no one at the border to hand it to so we drove on through. Asked around in Spain about a QR code but everyone said to leave it. Stayed 5 weeks and travelled back no problem. I believe that from 25th November you will need a negative Covid test or face a 6000 euro fine; but again, this is only checked when landing by air or sea, the French/Spanish border I believe is still open with no checks. Hope this helps.

The fine starts from 3000 euros.

Technically COVID test required from 23th November for EVERYONE coming to Spain from the ,,RISK" countries so if guardia civil was having the siesta when someone drove through the border, doesn't mean it be the same next time or there's a random pop up check further down the road as they do very often.

Just drove back myself to UK via Eurotunnel without the glitch, had all forms ready- no one looked or been stopped by French police on the Spanish-French crossing, was quite few of them by the tunnel in Pyrenees.
