Hello, hello, hello - how hard is it to adhere to traffic regulations and notice change. The amount of people still think it is their right to turn left into the B Consum/Chino/Best Wishes car park is unbelievable and also to back up and wait on the brightly painted area waiting for a car park spot. I so wish a policeman would secretly hide and pop up and fine these irresponsible (doesn't affect me) people. Hello, hello, hello - it is a traffic offence - get real and be responsible.  PS: I am sure I am going to get ribbed by this but hey the sign is there if people cannot see it they shouldn't be driving. Rant over.

Not been in Spain long I would guess - you have to get used to people going along oneway streets in either direction, ignoring No Entry signs, parking on zebra crossings, washing their cars in the street and any number of other violations.

It really isn't that long since Pedro rode to town on his donkey, so make allowances! :-)

...

...

Washing car on the street is a violation of what?

Because I'm just about to do it after driving from the UK and been doing that many times while police driving past by and seems they had no issues with this?

I guess pouring a bucket over balcony rail on to the street is not then?

There are many laws, particularly re motoring which seem designed to provide sticks for police to beat you with, but the theory behind the car washing is that it makes the road and adjacent pavement slippery. Given that normally you would only wash a car when the weather is fine it would soon dry, but a local copper in Malaga pointed out to me that when it is dry pedestrians and other road users are not expecting a sudden wet area. Same will apply to swooshing buckets of water I assume.

Fair point. Where I'm washing my car on the parking lot there's a gully down hill in the corner-maybe that saved my neck..

Pouring buckets over pavement must be some kind of national pride I think. Just yesterday my neighbour done it and was very unexpected taking in account of the area we are in.

"never seen such bad driving as on Camposol"you must lead a very sheltered life Yamaha ,!Go to Birmingham I saw a Audi A6 driven by nutters doing 70mph screaming down a high street full of pedestrians .And Inner city Birmingham the old jasper carrot joke applies "I remember the good old days when people stopped on red ,at the traffic lights"

Within two hours Yamaha you will change your mind about Camposol ,but always remember" you can't fix stupid "and some people shouldn't be behind a wheel .Fines I understand have  been levied by Consum by the police .let's hope more are for the entitled here ,that includes  drink driving outside the golf club with 5 people piling into these drunks cars ,with " it don't mean me attitude".im not looking for the perfect place but seeing that every Saturday night at the golf club is very depressing .

Don`t tell me about drink and driving, that`s what killed my 20 year old leaving a 6 mouth oil baby with out a mum, and i have never lived and would never wish to live in Birmingham. Yes i have lived and worked in Weatherby, Leeds, Scunthorp, Grimsby, manchester, shefeild,Hull and Bradford. so yes you could say i have lived a sheltered life. O and chaned my mind ??

Dangerous - the most important reason for not washing your car anywhere but the car-wash areas at Gasolineras is : Water saving ! You obviously don't know Spain is short of water! -  especially in the Summer months, when loads of non- residents come to share it ! Just wait 'til your tap runs dry - .  very soon.  If you're too tight to pay for cleaning (with re-cycled water) at least re-cycle your own waste water and use that on your own property.

I know nothing at all! Two buckets I filled from my tap I've paid for is going to run Spain dry, sure!

But you  know everything about me I can see???

Thanks for your advise( or order!!). What's wrong with you, your wine dried out or you just wake up from the bad dreams, you bully!?
