Hi,

I’m shortly looking forward to moving to Camposol in a couple of months time when this lockdown has lifted.

I’m wondering if anyone could recommend where I can get some LHD headlights for my UK car.

Unfortunately, on my car they cannot be re aligned to confirm with Spanish regulations.

Hoping everyone is doing well,

Harry

They will normally be cheaper if you can find them in the UK to bring with you. If no luck try searching milanuncios website. Remember you may have to change the reversing light position and get it ITV’d and rematriculated onto Spanish plates, so it could be a lot easier to use one of the companies here that specialising in sorting that all out.

Amazon or ebay.

I had brand new LHD headlights for a Honda Accord (pattern parts) delivered from China for around £80 the pair - ebay.

Some car headlights can be very very expensive.

Make sure you do yours sums as the cost of the headlight change plus all the paperwork costs can sometimes be more than the car is worth.

As said try eBay... make sure the car you take has no insurance advisories on it ..if it has been involved in a accident in the UK ..you will not be able to register it on to Spanish plates you can check this out at the DVLA on  line .. if it's a old car say over 5 year's old it might not be viable to take  it as it cost around €1,500 to get it plated and road legal in Spain ..also right hand drive cars on Spanish plates are worth very little hear in Spain...when you try to sell them on.

Hello. Take the car to a local SPANISH garage. They have contacts with scrapyards and can often get your parts very cheap compared to buying new.
