All I can see is the U.K. & the E.U. or, if you like, the UK & Spain or the UK & any other EU country but, like I said before, if the EU is not a country but an entity then where does "3rd" actually come from? Why not 2nd? Where is the second country? What's the sequence? I'm not being deliberately argumentative but genuinely puzzled.
