On the basis that the UK is yet to leave the EU. This query may not be answered but worth a shot.

My partner and I had planned to move permanently to our property in camposol in 2021. This had always been our plan. However with brexit I am now aware this may be a little more difficult then before (could be wrong)

What I want to know is can i move over to Spain and then find a job before applying for resedencia or do I need to apply before I move over? Do i need to find a job before applying for resendencia? just wanted to check, so I can start making preparations now. Also do we know what the process will now be if we want to bring our pets with us?

As I said the questions maybe difficult to answer but just wondered if anyone had heard. There is very little information on the government website.

Thanks Mike

Well don’t think things will change immediately but apart from anything else you have to have lived here for at least three months (and have bank statements to prove it) before you can apply for Residencia.

Thanks for your response, I already have a bank account.  But good to know I can be in Spain for 3 months before applying for resendencia.

PS it doesn’t have to be a Spanish bank account. It’s just to show your expenses in Spain 😃

looked at this as well. Looks like you need to earn a fortune or be loaded to do it all legal next year.  I doubt the immigration men will worry about me..... Too busy looking for boat loads crossing the med

If I don't ask for anything from Spain and spend a few quid I doubt they will care.
