Camposol Mixed reviews

I have read numerous reviews around Camposol and they seem to vary immensely. Variations seem to be around "too british", "resort looking tired " and some seem to be quite insulting. Others are very positive , "great place to live", "great lifestyle" and "very affordable ". I think if I look at the UK today many of the less positive comments could apply to where we are now. So my question is, if I am not opening a huge can of worms"What is the truth about , Camposol ". I would appreciate any feedback

Thousands & thousands of pages on Camposol on the internet.

It's like Marmite, you either love it or hate it !

I've had my holiday home on A for 23 years so I must be on the love it side.

The best thing to do is rent a place for a week or 10 days -& see if it suits what you want.

Thanks for your response, Marmite is a great analogy, I happen to like marmite. You say you are on A, how big are the sites and what letter do they go to

Hi

As Roland has already told you, you are best to rent on Camposol and see what you think using your own gut opinion &  not anyone else’s…..A lot of what is said online is utter rubbish, by people who have never been to Camposol.

I, like Roland , have a place on A and we have never regretted our purchase.

You need to ask yourself, if the community is so bad, then why have house prices increased?……If it was as bad as some idiots say it is, then house prices would be rock bottom.

Also, the average house on ‘A ‘sells within a week of being put up….people are also on waiting lists for property on ‘A Sector’- Don’t believe me, ask the agents in the area.

‘A’ is best, followed by B & at a push C…..D is a good area only if you have a car, plus on D , you get  more  for your money, but the average plot is smaller than other Sectors and it doesn’t have a local shop/ Bar etc…..It is very quiet, so depends on personal choice…..

Again, trust what Roland has said to you, as he is a genuine guy who knows what he is talking about.

Good Luck with your search, and yes, Camposol is great!

Regards

Colin

Hi,

Have a look at the “Expat in Mazarron” vids on YouTube, mixed topics about Camposol presented by Shaun. We have a  holiday home on D and love it, much prefer D due to it being away from the shops and is so peaceful.

We bought 8 years and lived here on D for 6 years. We decided against A and B because the noise from the bars and outside entertainment were too loud for us. D is lovely and quiet with great views and walks. Yes you need a car for the 5 minute drive to B but you will still need one on A or B to get off camposol

You get more for your money on D and they are selling quickly and prices keep rising so dont miss the boat. Come and see especially in the summer season to see if you can handle the bar noise heat and flies!

Other people below have answered most of your queries re Sectors A, B, C & D.

In total there about 4 000 properties I think although not all are occupied full time.

A is on one side of the motorway B C & D on the other side.

Im coming up to the end of a 4 month rental and move into my own villa in 2 weeks. We have chosen Upper C as we wanted a quieter area but still walking distance to bars. You will need a car for C or D.

As with any development there are issues but the residents make great efforts to make the place look nice.

For us it was the community feel we wanted and we after looking at other urbanisations we decided Camposol was right for us but its not right for everyone. You have to come out and live her before you decide.

Hi

Been on Camposol for 7 years on B sector, me and my family love coming here. Big mix of British and Europeans but I would say more Europeans are moving in to Camposol over the last three years. Prices were cheap a while ago but the prices of property has increased a lot this past few years. Best thing to do is rent for a couple of weeks like what as already been advised to you, once you have experienced Camposol and the community spiI can say you will want to buy a place here.

Good luck with your search 👍👍

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

What a load of rubbish. B has lots of shops bars charity shop post office etc. There are lots of people not sitting in gods waiting room. Camposol is not in mourning lol. Countless charity dos with bands karaoke etc etc and the older generation are out making the most of it. There are lots of families here. We have children a couple of doors up from us.

For your 1st post its not a good one!
