Hi, we moved here last October, having bought a house on A, and have no regrets. We already knew the area as we had stayed here with family but it’s best to rent to make sure it’s for you. Really everything you need is here or close by and it is a very friendly and welcoming community: different nationalities but lots of Brits and the majority 50+. I’m sure you’ll like it and will fit in well.

Btw, we lived in Kent for 35 years before moving to Scotland in 2011 and my brother is still there.

Thanks for the message similar messages like yours contained the A B or C what does that refer to obviously living there you probably think that everybody knows what it is unfortunately don't I'm assuming some sort sector.

I live in Kent and have been here for some time but I think I would appreciate the warm weather.

Camposol is divided into four sectors, A, B, C and D. A is the oldest - a bit over 20 years and is separated from B by the local motorway. Both A and B have commercial centres, B being the main one. Beyond B is C and furthest away, newest and quietist is D. D is about 4/5kms from the commercial centre on B. Prices vary from sector to sector - and obviously depending on house style and amenities - with A tending to be the most expensive and D the least. Hope this explains it. You can see it quite clearly on Google earth or Google maps: A is the most eastern sector.

Thanks for letting me know about the car, you definitely need a car when I come down there. I don't go anywhere the bus here is that the change will come down there.

All seemed so friendly to me and with sunshine should be a better way of life.

We did a exactly that, moved out here “cold turkey”. Never looked back, never going back. It’s a wonderful country, people are so friendly. You can get involved on Camposol as much as you want, or just a little and often. My daughter has just moved over, she’s found a job and buying a house, and she says Mum, why didn’t I join you sooner ❤️
