Hi Jan
the Urbanisation was built in 4 lots:
Sector A (now called Los Palacios)
Sector B with all the shops and facilities
Sector C with the golf club and hotel
Sector D must have a car as it is 3 miles from the shops

I have lived at 3 locations in Spain and there is 1 which I would now avoid although I do have some great memories of that location but that was some 12 years ago, times change.
what utter rubbish is being spouted from an ill informed fake news disciple many property's are sold on camposol every week by reputable estate agents we sold ours last year in 1 week on sec d 23 , and are coming back in august we are no chaves, but you can find them all over Spain in every corner of the world including your corner by the way. camposol is a fantastic place to live with many fine and well looked after property's best advice i can give is to visit and find out for yourself this is for the poster of the original question. not for the negative/wrong/ badly informed member of royalty or hyacinth bouquet maid 4 la manga
I hope people are not taking any notice of you Maid 4 la manga! Hundreds of us love Camposol. I've only been here since last August but have made more friends than I ever have in England in that time. There are so many groups to join if you want and the community spirit and help for the aged is second to none. You can drive to the beach in 20 mins and the motorway links to anywhere are amazing. And I see 'sold signs on houses all the time. So get your facts right.

We have had a home for 32 years.. the first was Punta Prima and then moved to the Mar Menor 10 yrs ago. If you take a good look around the area you will find some really lovely homes in beautiful spots. It all depends on what your looking for.
If you want to be really close to the beach then you will have to pay for it. We are fortunate to live on El Carmoli with the amazing view. But you only need to go a bit further to Mar de Cristal to find some really lovely properties. All along the coast of the Mar Menor is lovely. We watched as Camposol was first on the plans and yes it's built up now. But that's Spain for you. If you want space and no brits to speak of then you need to go in land further. Cheaper but not without its problems too.
Sadly it's beginning to change all over Spain. But we still love it. You need to make compromises and discover what your really looking for.
Why would estate agents on the Costa Blanca want to sell houses in Camposol. There are several agencies actually here on Camposol and they seem to be doing very nicely. Agents on the Costa Blanca would be too far away to compete.
As for the rest of your uninformed post. Bleh !!
It drips snobbery.
Not nice at all.
Here's an online map.
If you know the name of the street where a house is, you can find it easily with this.
It's part of the FAST website. FAST is an organisation of volunteer 'First Responders'.. Made of of residents of Camposol.

I agree with you. They really wouldn't be bothering to sell on the costa Calida. We had a place 30 years ago close to Torre. V... and we're glad to move on after it became so very built up.. when we first went there we could sit on our patio and watch the sunset behind the hills in Elche. Now all you can see are buildings and high rises at that. We moved to the Mar Menor and it's lovely.. we had to go there to find a property. None of the estate agents had any on their books... all too busy with the millions of properties on the costa Blanca.

We chose to live by the sea at El Carmoli but a few weeks ago had a drive to Campasol to have a look round.
We were pleasantly surprised how nice and well kept it was, the streets were amazingly clean with lovely flower beds and well kept houses.
It's a bit too remote for us but as a place to live it seems fine with good motorway links to Mazzaron and the new airport.
Don't be put off by prejudice, Campasol is a decent place with some fantastic value houses to buy.
