Very helpful member
Hi we are in the process of purchasing a Rebecca on sector D. The property you are interested is also sector D which is lovely and quiet. You will need a car. Camposol isn't for every one but we liked the look of it. Prices are so good and you get a lot for your money. Go and take a look.
There are so many threads on this type of topic...!!
There is a lot of negative press around Camposol because a few houses were not built in accordance with regulations and about 5 years ago there was a really big flood. However, the vast majority of porperties are in good condition and safe and if you actually go and view the one you are interested in you will be able to tell very quickly if there is any flood damage (pavements dislodged etc.)
Following the flood the bridge has been rebuilt but basically we are seeing as many floods in the UK these days so not sure why there is such a focus on Camposol? If you are moving to Sector D then you will need a car. This is where we bought a property 3 years ago and love it. It is very quiet which suits us but you are about 8 minutes in the car from the amenities on B so we found a car to be essential
You are relatively close to the golf club on Sector C and the hotel which was bought earlier this year with a view to being refurbished which I believe is down to thew opening of the new airpot at Corvera next January. All these are positive signs for the area to start emerging out of the problems following the world crash and even the local council are now agreeing to take responsibility for Camposol as well
Things may not change overnight but I would say that in general the area is on the up so now would be a good time to but before the property prices start to increase
We bought in sector B and it's very quiet also although we are only 700 m away from all amenities. We love it here and don't ever want to leave !

Thaks everyone for your reviews. They have helped us to make a decision to take the leap in 12 months time. The only thing we would like now is a pie and mash shop....

There is an excellent chip shop on B but must admit not sure if they extend to pie and mash...?
