Hi we are considering buying a property on Camposol. We have had a property in the Almeria region for the past 12 years but can no longer fly to Almeria Airport in Winter from the North West of England for various reasons,  Monarch and Thomas Cook going out of business and Ryanair discontinuing Winter flights. Last year we had a couple of viewing trips to Camposol and were pleased to note that Ryanair had winter flights into Corvera which is why we decided Camposol was the place for us. This no longer seems to be the case! Does anyone know who flies Corvera from the NW in the Winter months or is Alicante the only definite option for Winter flights. Presumably other people are  having the same problem and would be glad to have their views on the subject. Why do Ryanair not think it viable to Corvera in the Winter? Surely there must be the demand.

You could try looking into Birmingham - otherwise it'll be Stansted.

I've look at the Est Midlands and Ryan air have stopped flights altogether to Corvera.

Nobody flies into Corvera during the winter from the North of England.

Only into Alicante.

The Ryanair flights that used to fly into San Javier & then Corvera in the winter where always 95 % full in my experience.

Ryanair do fly from Manchester into Murcia International (covera) in the winter but only 3 days a week.  Not sure when you say North of England whereabouts you are.  Other wise it is Easyjet to Alicante again from Manchester

Karen1974 is correct. We've just flown with Ryanair from Corvera to Manchester and back on Monday 27th Jan and Saturday 1st Feb.

My understanding is that Ryanair will operate flights to and from Manchester as follows:-

November to March - 3 flights a week - Monday, Wednesday and Saturday

April to October - 6 flights a week - every day apart from Tuesday

In addition Jet2 fly Monday, Wednesday and Friday from May to September

No flights from Liverpool at all but plenty from both Liverpool and Manchester to Alicante all year round.

Should probably have been more specific.  We have booked flights to Malaga for Oct 2020 and will have to drive or catch a bus to our house in almeria. As there are no flights to almeria or corvera. The flights stop around 23rd October. Even though this is half term where we live.  Last summer when we did some research into flights to corvera there were flights for winter 2019/20 available as Karen has kindly pointed out. It's this coming and future years that worry us!

Jill, I think it is just that Ryanair have not decided on their winter 2020 schedule yet.

I am sure that there will be winter flights released later in the year.

Ryanair flights to Corvera from Manchester have finally come out! Exactly 4 months after the ones to Malaga and Alicante. Not sure why there has been such a delay. There are still no Winter flights to Almeria again so we will have to get used to travelling to our current home from Malaga out of Season until we move to Camposol. Thanks again for everyone's imput on this matter. Just enjoy your lovely weather. We came home from Spain 2nd September last year after 6 weeks away and we have not had 3 consecutive dry days since then in our part of Lancashire.  Roll on retirement when we can escape the awful Winters!!
