Personally I wish Ryanair would disappear off the face of the Earth! They have no idea how to treat their own staff, let alone passengers(paying customers)! Livestock get better treatment, at least they have legislation on their side. I wish Jet2 had more base airfields in the UK, I always find it refreshing to be treated with respect, and flying with them is like stepping back in time when air travel was a pleasure.

Back to the thread. From my investigations it would appear that all licences are checked OK and carriers already flying into San Javier will automatically transfer to Corvera, now known it seems as Murcia Internal! I would suspect that current timetables will change, as I think the airport will prove to be popular.

I wouldn't be able to come over here so often if Ryanair stopped flying from my local airport to murcia. I am going to look at flights to Alicante when I go back to the UK. I won't bother with Corvera unless they have a regular/reliable bus service to/from san javier.

Hi have been flying with Ryanair for many years to Spain, do not know regards working for them wish I had their pay when I was at work, However they have always treated us with respect and utmost courtesy do not use any other Airline, We get what we pay for and more,It only takes approx two and half hours or a little over Well done Ryanair see you in a few months.😎

Just to add,If airport opens, treat the Corvera road with respect it is only single carrage up to Motorway.RM2 I think thy are building RM16 close by?

I dread to think what you got paid! Only a few year's back a friend of mine worked part time for them as a pilot, and he had to pay them. All Ryanair would say was that he was keeping his commercial flying hours up! I'm glad I didn't bother with a commercial licence. Last year I had the misfortune to travel to San Javier from Stansted with Ryanair and had a long conversation with some of the cabin crew, which led me to ask why do they put up with it? Well, they have had several strikes since then and another planned for Friday.

Whenever I've checked fares on their site, by the time you add on all the 'compulsory' add ons, there doesn't seem to be much saving if any. As I said before, these are my personal views based on my experience, but going by what the public say at large, I'm not alone. Good luck to you if you're satisfied with them. Maybe you don't have much of a choice from your airport, but I'd have to be really desperate to use them again! Travelling these days is stressful enough without worrying if your flight is going to be cancelled at short notice.

Was that with Easyjet or Ryanair? I fly from Southend quite a bit and Ryanair are basing three aircraft at Southend next year. I know which I prefer.
