Acid for removing pool grout

Hello,

Once the rain stops, I plan to empty and regrout our swimming pool. Can anyone recommend a local supplier of acid to clear the existing grout please. TIA

I’m sorry I do not have the answer you need, but I funny enough just redone my bathroom grout by using a chisel to get the old grout off.

It was a complete ball ache…..I didn’t know u could buy acid stuff….bit late for me….it was a real boring & horrible job that took ages!!!! Never again….lol

Not sure of an acid to remove old grout, think it’s more of on your knees with an angle grinder & possible high pressure hose to wash loose grit out

We recently used Revamp Pools from recommendation from R&F pool services on B & very pleased with the results on our pool

You can buy ´agua fuerte´ (30 % hydrochlic acid) at any Asia shop (e.g. at Csol B, second but last aisle on the right) in 1 litre bottles for less than 1 € . Possibly also at consum, but not sure.
Does the job! Make sure you wear protective gloves/ goggles etc.!!!!
Amzingly this stuff is freely available to the public. In most other EU countries it is only available to licensed operators!
So take when using it!!
