Hi Guys

Looking to semi retire to Spain soon and have been looking at the properties in the Camposol area.

I have read stories of bad roads, subsidence and even some properties nearly falling down.

Now i  don't believe everything i read so my question is.... What is the Safest (Nicest, Poshest,Well maintained) Sector to look at.

Budget is not the issue as it can be adjusted for the right property.

This is mainly so when i come over to look i am not wasting time in the wrong places

Thank you so much for reading

What budget do you have to play with.

With a budget of €50 to €130 k ...I would not even look look at the €50k places ...they are not what you want if you have €130k ... what you should pick up for €130 when you factor the 10% buyers fee is a nice detached 3 bed 2 bathroom villa with pool  on a 300 m2 plot ...all of the areas on Camposol have good points and bad points ...some streets have very well maintained villas ..and some Villa's in other streets tend to be in disrepair due to being use as a holiday home ...so look for a street that has full time residents in they are easy to spot ...you will also need a car what ever part of Camposol you buy on unless you want to spend the rest of your life on the place good luck .

Hi SunnyMitch

The more you spend on a property now the less you will have to live on later, unless its a windfall ....that would be nice

Take a look at what's on offer in and around all parts on camposol which suites you not just the budget! depends what you need/want pool private?  hot tub? communal? enjoy looking ask lots of questions then make up your own mind, what ever you decide good luck with it.

Have a look at the Camposol estate agents on the net I think you will be surprised... don't forget to factor in the 10% buyer's fee on top...of the agreed price .. good luck.

Depends what you want. We have always lived rural so an urbanisation wasn’t for us. Rural you get more for your money, larger house, larger garden etc, you are never stuck for work. Your neighbours will be Spanish sointegration is easier. If we want to socialise with other Brits we can always visit places like Camposol for a night out. Before jumping in feet first ask to be shown rural and urbanisation villas, don’t be told rural unsold fincas, it us not, there are plenty of modern country houses.
