What a surprise the burglaries are becoming more and more regular yet for some reason nothing is publicised..why is that, they always used to be….what is happening to Camposol, burglaries, robberies, muggings and a murder in a small community!!!… gone backwards in last 4 years massi

There was one burglary on D and one on B as well as an attempt on C last night. They were publicised on the security groups, as are others when they occur. There are over 4000 houses on Camposol, so some level of criminality should be expected.

Well we all had a choice, no one wanted to get involved in a small police station, and 24 hour police cover, guess why?

A small fee each month, from every one, and I am sure the Mayor would have taken credit to sort it, after all his election is up for renewal shortly, but again Camposol residents will not bother to turn out and vote, so put up with what happens, its down to us.

I agree, people are moaning about it but not prepared to put their hands in their pockets to help this matter…it ain’t getting no better there that’s why so many properties are up for sale…a lot of people live within the Camposol goldfish bowl and aren’t prepared to look outside it and see what they can do to help themselves..all you hear is it’s the same in the uk!!!….you don’t expect to move to a community in the sun full mainly of Brits who are quite possibly committing a lot of these crimes against their own…just walking around the square you can see how much the clientele has changed and it’s not for the best I’m afraid….sad really

Out of 5000 houses only a handful of burglaries and again only a handful of people actually moaning. Crime happens all over the World  Spain and Camposol are no different.  We have security groups and lock smiths who are happy to advise individuals on the security of people's properties which would work out a lot cheaper than paying  for a 24 hour a day security company on Camposol  which even in place could never cover every street here.

Do the owners in the Camposol area pay IBI? If they do surely they are entitled to all the norms of a civilised town? Denounce the council to the Murcia or national government. I have read about these problems for years, and cannot understand why people have continued to go and live there.

Agree, but imagine just 2000 residents pay 3 Euros a month, thats 6000 Euros a month, 2 police officers, and a small police station would not cost this, and we could have 24 hour patrols, a good deterant, and that brings zero tolerance.

But hey ho, no one interested.

Sorry but you are living in cloud cuckoo land with your calculations. 2 police officers covering the 4 sectors of camposol 24 hours a day.   On push bikes I would presume? You haven't calculated for the cost of vehicles   even just the purchase price and on going maintenance   let alone cover for the policeman who by EU LAW  can only work set hours. Then you have annual leave and sick leave.   You clearly have never run a viable business.
