Well done to the garden parties who joined groups on Tuesday to to start to clear the dual carriage way of weeds.

C Sector and B Clean doing a fantastic job, in very hot conditions, shame some residents cannot even be bothered to clean out side their own property, but happy to watch others working hard.

A big thank you to those who put money in the collection bucket for them, it all goes on making Camposol a better place.

Shame on those who do not support the parties, and cannot even be bothered to place their rubbish in the bins provided.

Its our community, so lets get things done, it costs nothing to clear up outside properties, and make them look good

It would be great to see more helpers turn up to do a few hours work, and make all clean and tidy. ( carriage way continues next Tuesday 9 am)

Also to say sorry to the residents who got broken into on D, it must be heart breaking, but the idea of a small police station, and 24 hour police cover was badly put down by residents when it was proposed some time ago, I think a suggestion of 3-5 Euros a month was seen as to expensive, and comments of ( we do not need them, )  to,  (oh god some one sent to annoy us again with stupid ideas ) so enjoy your 3 Euro pint, its obviously more precious.

Many people live on a very modest fixed income and often suffer from invisible disability. I guess it's all about priorities. Well done those able and fit to contribute but spare a though for those less fortunate.

There used to be a one room police office on Sector A  many years ago.

It was closed through lack of use I believe.

I agree, but we are talking about Camposol, thousands of residents, and villa owners, it would not take many to contribute to install what would be great for us.

3 Euros????? thats not a lot.

My thoughts only.

Hi Roland, shame it was closed, it would be ideal to have one of the empty offices on B, near the Black Bull as a police office.

I would be one of many to help decorate it, and fit it out.

A small contribution from residents would be great to have a 24 hour police cover, I doubt the cash dispenser would have been taken from the bank, and who knows how many house break ins would have been prevented.

Yes many will disagree, but I believe it would be great for Camposol security, not so good for the beer drunken drivers, but yet again could prevent some one being killed.

I was shown a private company was to take over Camposol, not sure if you saw it on Face Book?

I have no doubt that will incurr charges, but security have no power of arrest as far as I know, and of course who vets them?, My views, but I would support fully a 24 hour police patrol, and station, may be pie in the sky, shame, but we must push to protect Camposol.

No one is going to support us, unless we do it ourselves.

There have been a number of 'private' security companies that have come onto Camposol over the years.

Charging for property security.

All have failed due to lack of interest I am afraid.

Neighborhood watch would be free. There are plenty of strategic rooftops in which a marksman could be stationed.

Marksman, if only.

It needs on the ground police patrols, visible 24hr, nothing else will deter the break ins, and cash machines

being taken, a few more that are taken will result in no more replaced, that will cause many residents big problems.
