Hi everyone,

Can I first apologize for the delay in responding to your emails  giving your intention of attending our meeting.

The delay is as a result of the huge response we have had. I can tell you that the meeting will go ahead and the date of the meeting and the venue will be communicated to you as soon as possible. We have a full page advertisement in the December edition of the Journal and we would like to give that ad time to perculate to all other residents. This will mean that the meeting will be held during the second week in January. We don’t want to spoil Christmas celebrations with this issue.

Many of the emails contained comments which we would have liked to respond to on a personal basis and we thank you for those comments. But the backlog of mail arising from this huge exercise prevents the personal replies.

We are not surprised by the anger demonstrated in some of the letters and I hope at the meeting we will take the actions to assuage that anger.

The meeting agenda will be provisionally as follows:-

  1. An explanation of what an entity is, its legal base, and your right to refuse to take part in one, unless particular conditions are met

  1. Probable costs of an entity to each of us on a personal basis.

  1. What is an Administrator? Their powers and the danger they represent to you.

  1. What is a Fin de Obras?(certificate of complete ion of works)

We will ask you at the meeting, to give us the Authority to inform the Mayor that:-

  1. The Residents of Camposol are not prepared, under any circumstances, to accept the imposition of an entity organization until all infrastructure and repairs are completed.

  1. The Residents of Camposol demand that the illegal Fin de Obras issued for the Urbanization of Camposol be immediately withdrawn.

  1. If the Mayor does not agree to remove the Fin de Obras, we will take the Mayor to court.

When we visit the Mayor to give him your decision, we will be accompanied by a lawyer so that a legal record of the conversations ensuing is maintained.

During the period up to the meeting, if you are approached to take part in an entity or association, please refuse to take part and impress upon whoever is attempting to create an entity or association that this action is not based on a legal Fin de Obras.

Thank you for your support we will keep you informed of progress as we go along

Regards

Tom Finnegan

There you go then...........

In regards to number  question 3 - who is going to take the Mayor to court - who pays for this; if the outcome is not what one expects who foots the bill and costs - are you suggesting all residents have to pay towards a costly court case that may or may not go in favor of the residents of Camposol??

I for one will not be paying towards a reckless and expensive court case if it comes to it.

I can understand the frustrations on what is going on; yes I might not have had the experiences of the long term residents of Camposol, but I have bought in Camposol this year for the future. Why can't we as a community just move forward and make Camposol what it's supposed to be???

Yes I have bought a place that will be affected by the Community of Owners; I would like the issues to be resolved and move forward - if it means paying for street lightning etc in the poligono, it's fine by me, let's move forward as a community instead of dragging our feet and throwing our toys out of the pram because someone does not like what will come into force.

Why is Camposol residents being treated this way.  Is it because Camposol is made up of over 80% foreigners? Or the County Hall thinks the residents have money to burn, therefore, the residents can afford whatever's thrown at them.

I will leave the action plans in the hands of those that understand our plight and can find solutions to resolve this.

Maybe some people live on a pension and just would not be able to pay another bill. Also why should we just pay up when nobody informed us about this when we purchased our property, I brought 3 years ago and nothing mentioned about this at the time.

No way should we just let them do as they like if you do not make a stand you will get yet another bill for something then another. No No
