Nice one Phil, I fully agree, after 35 years in law and order, take it from me its no fun knocking on a door and telling a mum that their child has been knocked down and killed by a drunken driver.

Of course thats why a majority on Camposol do not want a police station and 24 hour police cover, as they know no more getting pissed and driving home....

...

Fully agree with the police stops, it will stop the drunks, catch those looking at breaking in to villas, and make the community safe, but of course it will never happen, sad for the community who up hold the law.

Catch them, take them to court, scrap their car, fine them thousands of Euros, and ban them from driving for ever.

I still think that many are driving on a banned license as the agreement on British licenses that have not been changed up for a Spanish one, has still not been made, so they are not insured.

Would love to see the road blocks, the more the better, a police presence is always welcome to those who have nothing to fear.

Not sure where you get "The Majority of Camposol " from? We know many many people who totally agree with the need for random police blocks to be set up as we are against drink driving .   Plenty of bars offer alcohol free beer so no excuse not to buy and drink it.

A Majority, if it was a minority, we would hardly notice it.

Thats why they want no police patrols, and no police station on Camposol.

The majority would be over 2500 house holds  get your facts straight before making wild accusations.  Yes there are a small group of persistent  idiots who drink drive and police road blocks definitely required

Your belief not mine, do not accuse me of things, when I am simply trying to help, if you do not like it, keep your thoughts to yourself, we do not need negativity.

There doesn't look to be a consensus here. The facts are that those who don't want Guardia patrols seem to be in the majority. Otherwise the situation would have changed. Maybe "vocal majority" would be a better description?

It's a shame we arnt allowed to use our security cameras more liberally onto outside our properties.

This would hopefully be more of a deterrent

Hi

There is nobody to enforce Spanish security camera law, if someone was hanging around our property and got caught on our cameras & if there had been a local burglary I’d happily post the images on social media and forums in the hope that these low life’s get caught.

Phil.
