Car aircon
Is there or is it even allowed a mobile regas for a car aircon. Mine isn't as cold as it was last year.It would probably need a leak test as well as a flush & regas.Anyone recommend a mobile mechanic & approximate cost.Thanks.

cost i dont no depends on age of car the latest gas is expensive if in dont use the dealer who made your car
The wholesale price of the new gas is slightly dearer, many garages are charging exorbitant prices, you need to shop around. Smaller garages on the whole are cheaper, my main dealer wanted 150 Euros. A joke.
A small garage in the uk charged me £35. That was a 4 year old Santa Fe.
I believe that the new regulations about car air con and re gassing have caused many small garages to stop doing re gassing altogether.
Those that still do it will be pricing accordingly.

Last year our car needed the air on regarding, we took the car to our local garage but was directed to another company. Apparently new regulations state staff have to be trained and issued with a certificate, which has to be renewed periodically. The premises have to be licensed and the cost if gas increased considerably. We had normally paid £25-£30 before but all of a sudden it became £120 with the new regulations. Many small garages don’t offer this service as not worth the expenditure.

The regulations are f gas certified
Ken sherwood garage have the certification and will normally charge around 70-80 euros for a leak test and full recharge and can do it while you wait

Ken Sherwood must have up dated as it was Ken who directed us to the garage in Fuente Alamo.
