Hello

Can anyone recommend a good and reasonably priced ceiling fan? We bought a couple years ago from Brico House (shows how long ago that was) in Camposol but they have never been powerful or fast enough to have any cooling effect and even when on the fastest speed possible it is still easy to focus on the movement of the individual blades going round which just goes to show how slow and ineffective they are! Have looked online on the Leroy Merlin site but the choice is pretty mind boggling so any advice from anyone who has bought a good one would be appreciated.

For example, 3 blades, 4 blades (that we currently have and are useless) 5 blades?

They don’t give information on the power of the fans, just the size of room they are supposed to cool.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Fl

We picked up 2 3 blade led light ceiling fans from Leroy Merlin They were 119€ each, enter reference code

82003836

Into the search box on their website for detail. Excellent, silent, powerful fans, remote control and variable speeds and light levels/colour. We are very pleased with them.

Oh Phil, I faced the same decision, led vary colours or more power.

I wanted the led vary colour but settled for more power upon Leroy Merlins recommendation.

Its down to choice, but then found you could get 1000's colours with the add on led bulbs that come with their own remote for an extra 9€.

Regards, Al

This fan was purchased over a year ago from Leroy Merlin for 49 euros with 1 remote. Excellent displacement of air and very quiet. A lot depends on the size of the room.

Well I have a Classico, so none of the rooms are very large. Thank you for the photo. I thought I would have to pay a lot of money to get something decent, but your fan looks great and if it works well then that is good enough for me. Leroy Merlin definitely seems to be the place to go!

Thank you

You are welcome. Fans are very expensive locally.  Check Leroy Merlin website for up to date price.
