I have had a fin de obra (building works completed cert) for 12 year's...are you sure it's not the Habitation cert they are talking about...as far as I know only sector A has habitation certs  B/C/D does not have them ..the council has not issued habitation certs to date.

Hi,

It is a new notice to state roads are now private, and the council will not cover any work, repairs.

I spoke to Silvana who has confirmed this.

Get ready for lots of costs to the owners of properties.

You are right,

roads are now considered private, and the council will not do any repairs, it will cost home owners a fortune.

It is a URBANISATION WIDE Fin de Obras.

This means that a declaration has been made to declare that the property area is completed in infrastructure to the point that maintenance is only required.

Camposol is far from complete, roads, lights etc.

Can you just imagine the costs to residents, about E 40 - E 100 was quoted per month. let alone a community fee to be payed also.

The person below has all the details which he has put out.

I was told the cost of the urbanisation upkeep would be approximately €250 per year per household...I don't know how the council are going to collect it .. maybe they will add it on to the IBI doing it that way would be better for everyone...but I have also heard that quite a few are not paying IBI..for some reason or another...so unless the council sort the none payers out ..we will get nowhere.

People aren’t paying the IBI now as it is. I know quite a few that don’t pay it and they except that the only way they will ever pay is when the property is sold and the government get the IBIs at that point so not everyone will or would pay any extra

I have been paying IBI for the last 12 year's €480 was my last payment..you say that quite a few people are not paying IBI ..why not what's the excuse for not contributing ..and yet this same trash that doesn't pay will complain about the state of the roads / pavements / lack of services and so on...that the council are not providing.
