Hi

Does anybody have any up to date and accurate information on the current Covid 19 'R' Rate in Spain are the numbers increasing or have they stabilised ? it's very difficult to get accurate daily information on other countries while in the U.K.

Phil.

Recent reports have quoted between 1.04 and 1.25, although most reporting now focusses on the rate per 100,000.

The link below shows almost every stat you could want:

https://www.statista.com/statistics/1104274/covid-19-infections-every-100-000-people-by-region-in-spain/

Murcia is shown as 1/3 the rate of Madrid, but then there are varying rates / hotspots within Murcia itself.

A lot also depends on how many tests are being carried out and who is being tested...
