There has been a lot of discussion on the week end in a bar, stating that the new football pitch has been vandalised, is this true.?

Yes a sticky liquid was thrown through the fence causing deliberate damage by the goal.
Graffiti was also daubed on the new playground on Sector A a few weeks ago.
It was cleaned off by me & some other guys.
I was told by the guys that helped me that the 'tags' were known to them & they knew exactly who had done it.
Probably kids, maybe its time to install cctv and catch the culprits red handed and make the parents pay for the damage.............

I agree it is time parents were held accountable for their children’s behaviour. Perhaps paying for the damage might wake one or two up and for them to realise how expensive it is to clean up after them. Someone on this site complained about ‘trashing Camposol’, until this sort of behaviour stops Camposol is always going to have a bad name.

Who ever did the damage is not doing Camposol any favours. Do you know who vandalised they new football facilities and children’s playground? Some of the graffiti can be identified to individuals.

The guys that cleaned off the graffiti knew exactly who had done it.
Proving it is another matter unfortunately.

It still may be worth a visit if the police are informed, and all information given to the police to present to the suspected scum who are just trashing every bit of good that is done.
If action is not taken, people will give up, and just accept it, that sadly could be the end of Camposol.
If the police are not interested, then may be a visit to them by as many people from the community as possible.
Some will say this is wrong, but it has to be stopped with a warning to all who are suspected, if any one has any ideas, go for it.
Doing nothing just gives them the green light to continue.

Perhaps a neighbourhood watch could be set up to keep an eye on these scumbags, I have not even moved in yet but I certainly would not want to see the area vandalised so I for one would be very interested in catching these people before it gets further out of hand.I hope a few more of my fellow neighbours would join me to put an end to this trouble.
