Not sure where you read that. I know that sector B was built on what USED TO BE a pig farm. I agree that it is doubtful the Mayor even cares about Camposol. At least the other sectors will get the whiff as well, depending on the wind direction. Thank f*** I live elsewhere now.

Personally I do not think it is fair to ask where is the correct place to live on Camposol as everyone has their own specific requirements and wish list - so everyone's view is to a degree biased

My feeling is that Camposol is a great place to live with decent amenities, close to other shops and the beaches with very friendly people

You have to do your own research to see what suits you best

As for the pig farm, certainly not what I would want but I think I also read that the residents were trying to oppose this as the council tried to sneak it under the radar...? Must admit not heard anything along those lines since though

Hi - there are villas of all sizes to meet most budgets on Camposol and I would think that they cover all Sectors as well. Obviously have a look on an estate agent web-site (we found Mercers had most properties available when we bought) type in your budget and then see what is on offer

Nothing wrong with the vast majority of properties on C or D but not sure you would be restricted to just there. Just bear in mind that if you do choose C or D then a car is probably considered to be essential

Good luck in your search

Hi CFC

Congrats on your Europa Cup result last night .

This is exactly why I am moving to Camposol . I have lived in South Western Spain before ( right on the Portugese border ) in a town called Ayemonte ..Lovely little town and very nice people , but if you don't speak Spanish , it's a lonely place . I am moving into Camposol on the 23rd March . I will take Spanish lessons (basic ) .It is just nice to know I can find a builder / mechanic / plumber who I can talk to . PS Where is the best place to watch Prem football ?

Hi Howard - yes, good result and one foot in the next round

For me, I guess my preference is the Alley Palley as it gets most people so generates a decent atmosphere but numerous pubs show the games just not all have a decent sized screen

We don't speak Spanish either and may try to learn but living on Camposol makes it easier not to bother so we will see. Numerous English speaking builders, plumbers mechanics just a case of finding one you like and can trust

Good luck for March - I am sure you will enjoy
