Our thoughts are ignore all the reviews and when able come and see for yourselves. There was a major flood some years ago affecting some parts, but no repeat of anything like that since, remedial works were undertaken.Yes there are a couple of very small areas that have subsidence issues and one block of unsold bank repossession that would need repair/finishing. Overall 95% plus is fine and we have yet to meet with anyone who regrets their move here. One of our neighbours bought his place off-plan 16 years ago and has no plans to ever leave.

Get over here as soon as allowed, book a place for a couple of weeks and get the feel of Camposol and the surrounding areas. Beaches are great, people are great (apart from the odd one or two who grate😀) and for a large part of the year the weather is great. Go for it!

Mr Flyer

Oh dear you've let yourself down again with Monsora Villas on C10 which you haven't a clue about, you can purchase them with all electrics, kitchens bathrooms etc ready to move in or buy as seen and do the upgrade yourself as many of us on C10 have done and lots have purchased at the ready to into move price.

Next time and hopefully soon when you return to Camposol contact me and I will personally show you around C10 and the next time you quote Monsora Villas you can post with the knowledge that you ha e gained from somebody who actually purchased one of the Monsora detached Villas for under €70k, hope your well in these tough times.

Hi Iain,

we bought a holiday home on Camposol to make hopefully more permanent when we eventually retire. If you want somewhere in the sun, you will find its a lovely area when you get to see both Camposol and the beaches & town etc.

Camposol is a big place and unfortunately there are some die hards that want to put the area down for historic problems. There are some properties and areas that we didn’t consider, D sector was just too far out for us, some like this though and upper C has some properties that appear to have suffered from subsidence so we didn’t consider these, however these seem to sell also, probably because they are very affordable and may be fine now when renovated.

We are more than happy with our villa and it was excellent value for the price we paid. There are always plenty coming up for sale, it’s a big area and as you say some are being released by the banks, but you do need to come and have a look first, that’s what we did and bought second time.

The Monsora villas on C10 are nice, but frequent flyer is correct as it looks like others have been released up on D and by the looks of it are being sold as not much more than a shell with a bathroom.

hope this is helpful

Mr Flyer

I must have rattled your wings, point one we purchased our Monsora Villa on C10 in May 2019 it had a kitchen, bathroom in fact the only thing it didn't have was a consumer unit and as an ex electrician I did this myself for under €100 we are currently in England but when we return I will be taking the bath out and installing a walkin Shower for about €200. We had the garden area turned into a large patio with gravel and some artificial grass €3500 and a storage area built under the stairs €600 and I installed a pergola which I dismantled from our previous Villa on C2 before we sold it, which brings me to my other point we have had a Villa on Camposol for 4 years and your correct I'm certainly not an expert on the property market but I am knowledgable on a Monsora Villa Purchese on C10.

We have spent under €5k on our detached 2 bed Villa with amazing views that cost €63 k + taxes way short of your €15k and all the work has been done to a very good standard, we pay around €20 per month for the communal pool & general upkeep, I understand there only a few Villas left for sale out of the 52 C10 Monsora Villas.

Sorry if I upset you but these are the facts the the original poster needs to understand.

Phil.

Hi Paul & Sandra

Thank you for your reply, it’s very useful to us both, I will book flights once I know when Spain is opening up again.

Mr Flyer

We didn't install a new kitchen the original kitchen is fine thanks, the shower tray I'm putting in is larger than the bath so no need to replace any floor tiles just a few wall tiles and install a 3/4 glass shower screen we've used the villa many times over the last year and the bath with overhead shower was fine we just prefer a walk in shower and like everybody who owns there own property in any country you are always looking to improve your property especially if like us you can safe costs by doing the work yourself.

This is a serous offer as like me you enjoy Camposol please contact me when your back in the area and your welcome to have a look at our Villa and the work we have done have a few beers or glass of wine and a friendly chat. Hopefully we will be back in late July for 5 weeks if travel is allowed and its declared safe, we should have been there this week as well.

Phil.

I brought on d sector last year, can’t fault the place, only been to it twice so far, covid 19 stopped me going over in March, can’t wait to get back to it.
