And in the UK you don't need money to live ? I'm from Belgium and food is much more expensive there. Other things too. Like internet : here we pay 20 euros/month, in Belgium 130 euros.

Exactly Lydia, in the UK it has become too expensive to live, our council tax there is £2000 a year, here €400 a year,....Gas & Electric in UK £ 140 a month....here €85 a month......and like Lydia says internet in UK £40 a month,  here €25....🙂

Don't know how you get gas & electric for €85 a month, what do you do for heating.. Our electric is approx €85 a month in winter, €65 in summer. gas €140 a month in winter and €50 in summer. Internet is certainly dearer here than UK if you compare what you get for your money and phone calls are also dearer here.

I can only speak for Belgium of course. Don't know what the prices are in UK. Belgium is very expensive. Once we live here permanently, we will even be able to save some money every month.

That’s our costs ? We certainly don’t use that much on gas which is bottled, but then we only use for cooking.we have oil heating here about €345 a year....still cheaper than UK.

I don't have enough hours in the day, no time to get bored. If he plays any sports there is a wide variety, I spend 2 days a week playing snooker. Spain is a large country and well worth getting out and about to see some of it. What activities did he have in the UK.

2 days a week playing snooker, I can understand 2 sessions which might total 4 hours

Been here 14 years and if you eat similar to Spanish (stay away from English produce) then you can eat very cheaply

Spanish food, are you joking. Why do you think there are no spanish takeaways anywhere in the world.
