It comes on the sale paper that advertises the property for sale, it is done by the seller, and conformed by the solicitor.

We had to have one as the Villa is totally insulated on all out side walls, and this had to have a certificate, and permission, cost the seller a fortune, and very rare to find on Camposol, but you can notice the difference in winter.

I've walked and driven through the area only on a few occasions, maybe half a dozen at the most. In my opinion, it looks like a large private estate specifically built for British migrants or holidaymakers; if that's the kind of place you'd like to live whilst in another country that's fine. But that's not for me I prefer to live or stay amongst the Spanish. Eat their food, drink their liquor and speak their language or try with great difficulty in my case. Try looking at  Los Alcázares on the Mar Minor, it is a wonderful place, nice properties, eateries of various descriptions, great beaches for the family, palm tree-lined seafront/promenade to stretch your legs or ride a bike. It's a great little place and not too busy except on market day when folks do come in to buy an array of things from food and clothing to pots n pans or tools for the keen DIYer.

Hi, Well, Mar Minor, Had serious problems with flooding, beaches wrecked, and polluted, our friends wished they had purchased on Camposol, as there life has been turned upside down, and will take a long time to sort. No problems here on Camposol, so our friends are looking at re locating, even though they will lose a lot of money on there property. Can only say what they have been through. So think carefully.

Oh right , only asked as a lot of sources are saying only a handful on sector A have them . Even an estate agent on the urb said not many have !

Do not worry about this, it is not hard to obtain any documentation you need, if the property is legal, all electric / water connected, you can get it sorted, people have been worried about this for to long, and keep on and on about it.

Before this lock down, we were going to have a rep from the town hall / council, at the community center once a week, who you can go to and get the info required, after all is over I think this will still happen.

I still have properties in both locations and only one of them suffers with leaks, I know which I regret buying.

From what I have read, Los Alcazares has suffered multiple flooding during the bad weather. Just something to consider

Have you been to Puerto Mazarron? Isla Plana? Bolneuvo, Good restaurants, lovely beaches. Camposol is like many urbanisations in Spain. With people of many nationalities, so not just confined to Brits.

I understand the Mar Menor and surrounding areas will take sometime to recover from the previous storms and the pollution the beaches suffered, so probably not the best place to have an holiday at the moment.

Camposol is not perfect but there is a good community spirit, and it offers you a reasonably priced base to enjoy the surrounding areas including the lovely views on Camposol. We have owned 3 properties in Camposol starting from 2000 buying off plan and living here from 2003 all of the houses have been of been of reasonable build quality.

The roads need finishing, but we also have a property in the UK on a new estate and many of the roads still need to be finished 3 years on.

I think driving through, walking around the area a few times doesn't provide you or anyone else with an accurate picture of Camposol.

I have driven through Camposol ... that's almost as good as the poster that said I looked on Google maps 😂 and didn't like the place...I personally think that if you don't live in the a area under discussion then you have no right to make a comment as you know basically Bugger all about the place ...how come everyone that bought in Spain has found Utopia except the people on Camposol ...I have driven through Los( Alcatraz )on many a occasion on root to the old airport ...and I can honestly say I have never found the urge to stop as it's just to built up and is certainly not the real Spain that you trying to put over...but WTF...do I know I have only driven through your Utopia a couple of hundred times so I can't really comment on it... other than it having the nick name of (Los Alcatraz) .

We spent a weekend house hunting on Camposol and bought our ideal property in 2 days. We were driven around and obviously shown the amenities on the commercial sector but actually stayed in a hotel by Mazarron port

The Monday we were due to visit solicitors turned out to be a local bank holiday so we had the day to ourselves. Totally fell in love with Camposol and the port

Everyone is different but just driving around I do not believe allows you to get the feel of the place or how friendly the locals

For us, this was a perfect purchase which we do not regret
