What lights ...the street lights have not worked since I’ve been here . The roads are a disgrace . What are we paying taxes for ?

Thats what the new budget is for, to fix the lights and the Bridge to start with.

It is to start to put things right on Camposol.

I have no doubt it will take longer now, but it has started.

It appears you have had nothing major done on Camposol for many, many years, so this start is good.

Lets hope it continues, but that is down to the residents, who need to get out next time and vote to place more councilors in the town hall, to speak up for us, and have a larger voice.

We had the chance on the last vote, but many, many never bothered to vote, so we cannot complain if we do not do our bit to help.

Camposol has proved to be a very safe bet.

Although the whole world may alter in the time you want to retire, no one can tell the outcome of the serious situation the world is in.

But if we are looked after here, like we have been, and look after each other, as has happened, then I would rather take my chances in Camposol.

But be quick, they are selling, and its a great place, come and look when possible, retire early, life is now uncertain, so enjoy it as soon as possible, work will be a thing of the past, of course you need money, but if you can cut back, get a early pension, do it.

Camposol is exactly what you are looking for, a non tourist urbanisation with it's own amenities. Comprising of 4 sectors, A,B,C, and D. A and B have commercial centres on them, which are accessible by foot, C has the golf club with it's club house and approx 2Km walk to the commercial centre on sector B. Sector D is much more residential with no amenities which attracts lower house prices, however it is approx 5 Km to the commercial centres and medical facilities. All sectors have great communities with a laid back lifestyle which makes it a great place to retire to. Rural Spain is just 2 mins drive away with the town of Mazarron a 10 minute drive and Puerto de Mazarron a 20 min drive, so you have the best of both worlds. Would certainly recommend a visit and rent for a week or so , to see if what is on offer meets your criteria. Take care and good luck in whatever you decide to do.
