Hi peeps, can anyone shed light on the requirements for travel from France into Spain. We are travelling via the tunnel through France, all paperwork requirements straightforward and done, however crossing the border at Perpignan/La junquera is unclear on what is needed. We are double vaccinated. Anyone who has crossed the borders, your information would be extremely helpful. Many thanks in advance. đź‘Ť

We came through the French-Spanish border on the motorway late in August. No one in the booths, no checks and we drove straight through.

Better to use the motorway rather than the road through Le Pertus and La Jonquera,  as this is often held up with local traffic.

You will asked for QR codes in restaurants/bars in France, if you intend to stop anywhere.

Have a good, safe journey.

Yes I can confirm way down was no problem.

The return journey we decided to go over the top from Zaragoza, and in a little village on the French side there were check, not for Covid etc, but customs asked the normal questions where have you been where are you going, are you carrying Tabac, drink, MONEY drugs, after a quick chat we were on our way again.

I now realise we have seen Customs officers at the border between Spain and France when crossing into France on the Bordeaux motorway, the have never stopped us before, the road over the mountains is a 2 way road so they check!!! ever vehicle, if ther are working the post at the time you pass by.
