Dear Residents
I attended an Information/Study Day, Thursday 07 Mar organised by the British Consulate in Alicante where many issues were addressed by Sarah Jane Morris and her Team. The main message for all Brits Living in Spain is that there is NO need to worry even in the event of a NO DEAL. Provisions have been made by the Spanish Government which are being published on-line.
Be aware if you are trying to book Residency appointments and you are informed there are no appointments available, this situation is being addressed and a new box is being created for you to click on the booking form for UK Residents, which will FAST TRACK your application. Further to this unfortunately a scam has been detected that some Residency applicants has received notices from a group claiming they can FAST TRACK you for a additional fee. This is a SCAM and you only need to pay around 11euros for your application.
Everyone please be aware that the best way of gaining accurate information is to go on-line and visit: gov.uk/living-in-spain and share this information with others who may not have internet access.

Questions can be sent before the meeting up to 18/03
The mayoress has stated she will try to answer as many questions as possible that are raised so for those that live permanently, there is a golden opportunity to make your voice heard

Ok we'll see
Regardless of the reasons for the visit the fact is that the mayoress will be attending which gives the people if Camposol a chance to voice their worries or concerns. If no one turns up or does not forward questions then we are not in a position to complain when nothing gets done
Seems to me that as a group, the residents of Camposol should try to make a positive impact with the mayoress and see if she will commit to anything
Personally, quite interested to hear what she has to say about the new hotel and I though an Ibizian company bought it and are currently doing it up so not quite sure why this would be on her agenda...?
