HI I’ve been looking at properties too & I've been told the houses built by Masa have no insulation at all but there are properties on Camposol that were built by other builders which are better. It seems they were built to be holiday homes & not really used over the winter.

Most of the walls in my house get plenty of sun so no problem but I had 2 that didn't. I bought some polystyrene sheets and plaster boards, job done, now noticeably warmer.

I bought all the materials locally. There is a stockist of insulation and a factory that makes plaster boards on the road to Totana.

pellet burners are the way to go, cleaner on a timer and temp is simple to control,

Hi Dodgment.  Any chance you could let myself  & no doubt a few others more details of the whereabouts of the factory to which you refer as I'm hoping to insulate our villa asap. Many thanks. Bdeyes

I don't know the address and of course I did not get a bill. All I know is that its on the old road into Totana past the garden centres and there are industrial buildings on both sides of the road. It was about 2 years ago so I can't remember much more. I know we had to ask someone where it was. Its worth having a look as it was quite cheap. The alternative is to go to LeeRoyMerlin but it will be more expensive plus their delivery charges are not the cheapest.
