Hello just doing some research on different secs in Camposol and was wondering if anyone can advise me to sec D32 & D23 and C16 area also D15 are these areas ok to look into buying ? We have already been over to view and plan to come over again in September to rent a villa for a week and the ...

Thanks for reading 👍😎

We went to Camposol a few months ago and spent a couple of days driving around the vast site or sites. Drove around sector C and D many times without the agents just to get a feel of the area. You can see a very few roads and walls and houses have cracks showing. I must say, we saw many negative YouTube videos about subsidence and floods and poor quality builds etc., before we left for Spain to look for a house. We also looked at Balsicas developments.  We did our HW and we thought we would rule out Camposol on paper, but we have ended up buying one on sector C. There are many beautiful houses on Camposol and of course in many other Spanish regions also. The choice is yours. Hope this is helpful.............

Buying a house is a daunting affair and buying a foreign home could be worse. We have gone through that but just use your common sense and you should be fine. Same as anywhere, you have good people as well as a few bad apples. Spain is lovely and just enjoy it and good luck.

to all on here...............

All sectors have good and bad points!!!! come across take a look for yourself and make an informed decision........we were made aware of the problems on D by Vinny at Another World Properties and also Mick at Luz De Sol .at no time did these two estate agents try to pull the wool!!!!! they were honest about it all!!!!!  we have bought on B only because we fell in love with that particular property....we did consider all sectors.

thanks for reading this.

We were taken to Sector D by a very popular agent in Camposol and they tried to flog those bungalows to us, hoping that we would fall for it. We saw the cracks inside and out and also the walls and roads....  We asked them if there were issues and strangely their reply was NO !!!! Luckily we did our HW. Camposol is a beautiful place n we bought one in the end but not on Sector D........ Good luck and don't be put off by some bad stories. There are many many good ones also.

Well that is all very strange!

I bought a Classico 2x bedroom terraced on D-15 from Lyndsay at Mercers Estate Agents (on the sector-B commercial centre) about a year ago. On completion the Solicitor handed me the deeds. I still have them safe, and have been very satisfied with my little palace!

The best thing about Sector-D in my estimation, is that it is a mile-or-more away from the hustle-and-bussle, noise and traffic in the thick of things! I am very pleased that the evening entertainments seem to be so popular, but even more pleased to escape them with my eardrums intact!

OK so I admit that I limp-out like a light-wieght in my old-age, but I don't care! I have no wish to dampen the pleasure of those who enjoy very loud music- they are very welcome to it, but I like to grab my take-aways or supplies, and escape back to the peaceful tranquillity of Sector-D.

For some, this very remoteness is a curse! For them, it is a nightmare, simply because it IS a bike-ride or car-journey from the `hub'!  Having lived and worked in Central London for some 30-years I understand this, but it is not what I want, now.

heres a guy, that says listen to owners, then in same breath tells you to take a 36 000 gamble, really?

how do you know these people are owners or may have their villa for sale, hoping you buy theirs?

think about it, he says dont listen to tony down the pub, but who is he ? just a name on a forum,

as previous people have said, rent, look around, ask real people face to face, go to pub in camposol. ask tony,

get a survey done, make sure alll paper work is in place, then you know the property is sound,

therefore do u really want to listen to those types? these are the same people that have been sending abusive pms

You are right Miquel that certain person or in some cases persons think they know everything but they don't they only give there own opinion which in most cases is not right, I have been here on camposol on and off for just over 14 years C and D were just being built and I've seen the goings on there but it is up to the individual to find out for them selves some people have great experiences of Camposol but I could put people in touch with others that could tell you horror stories and as for a certain organisation I wouldn't give them the time of day

Tony down the pub said ...you won't get a 3 bed 3 bath villa with a pool with all the paperwork for €36,000 ...unless you take a gamble ( put your money on a horse with 3 leg's and hope it comes in first ) .... I said some people think it's worth taking the chance stop twisting post  ... €36,000 is only peanuts.personally I don't know why they are still aloud to change hands at all as they are not legal builds some would say ( this is Spain) .. Miguel you sound angry ..personally i could not give a toss and I don't think you know enough about Spain or Camposol to give  toss either just carry on doing your dreaming sorry  ( research ) .. Chile out.
