Yes Sector D is a nice quiet area with good people. A little remote for some as there are no amenities. You will need car as it is approx 40 minutes walk to the shops on Sector B......Best of luck with your visit.
Thank you will be across in October and rent a property and have a good look how far is sector d from the golf course
How far by car or taxi to mazzaron?

Depending on where you are located on D will determine the walking time to the golf club. a rough estimate would be from the nearest point 10mins and further afield as D is a large sector, another 10 to15mins.
Town of Mazarron 20 mins by car another 10mins to the port
Thank you very much

We are on D sector and think you will love the peace and quiet. Our experience tells us you will settle into life here very smoothly as everyone we have encountered are extremely friendly and helpful
The golf course and club house on C are very close (about 3-5 minutes in the car) and again it is very friendly. You will need a car for the main amenities on B and some on A as well but basically it is a very pleasant drive, easy to park and enough there to suit most peoples tastes
We used to get a cab to Mazarron, so we could have a drink, but now we tend to drive to sector A and catch the bus in to Mazarron or the port and then cab back. The bus takes 20 minutes to the port which is lovely
Thanks for the reply and great information
As you read on a lot of sites about a lot of crime in the area breaking into property
Subsidence of the buildings is that true?
The subsidence affects a very small part of Camposol and a reputable agent won't take you to those properties . The crime on Camposol is no worse than other places in Spain and we have security groups of volunteers on all sectors . On the whole l think this is a great place to live , the community spirit is amazing , there are bars , all types of restaurants , hairdressers , shops , bank , garage , doctors , dentist , pharmacy , chippy , live music in different bars all year and free outdoor music shows in the summer . You can get the bus to the port in one direction and to Murcia City in another from A and the beaches are a 15-20 minute drive away and the new airport under 30 minutes.....and to top it all off the sun shines and the wine is cheap 😁😁😁.
Must admit that I have read on different threads about the crime/muggings but have to say have never experienced this at all on Camposol. Guess you are always going to try and get oppotunits especially if they feel the local population is that much older so unlikely to put up a fight. But good to hear of the local patrols and would not mind some of that myself...!!
As for the subsidence, agree that it is minimal and the areas concerned are well recognised and I think if you just drove around you would be able to see the properties that are damaged but no reputable estate agent would ever consider trying to sell you one
We went through the same thing before we bought. You can watch a few videos by Shaun on Youtube and he drives arounf Camposol and many surrounding areas as well. Great impartial vids. Good luck and you will like Camposol., a friendly cummunity, although you will need a car to get to many places like whenever you live in Spain. There is now a phone a ride taxi service for all residents. Rent here first and get a feel of the place. May not suit everybody or very young people as it is peaceful n quiet. We love it here.
