We are looking at property in Camposil but keep hearing thats its very quiet and a bit run down we are out in Spain in February and were wondering if anyone had any advice
Please refer to previous posts regards the subject. Many opinions then it turns nasty ....
Best advice is.......come & see for yourself.
Although it will be quiet in February.
We moved here in June sector D .Yes it's quiet leisurely but then that's how I want my retirement. Definitely the best decision & the weather is a lot better than the UK...Its not Skegness lol...

Well worth a look and suits many people very well. Keep an open mind and check out places in the general area of Mazarron. There are plenty of places to consider.

This forum will give you just opinions and it's not the best place to start. The history and continuing problems with Camposol can be found by searching the internet. Best advice is to research it very well before February and don't ask the agents what it's like! Always remember 'Buyer beware' when looking at any property.

Camposol looks no more run down than the rest of Spain.. the Spanish councils don't like spending money on road or pavement repairs ...
Lizzylou, yes it's quiet. We live on Sector A and I love the quietness. Most of the Sectors are quiet, the question is "do you want your area to be regarded as "All Night/Day long party environment"? Oh no
Come and stay for a week or two, and it would definitely show you what a great place CAMPOSOL is.
At the end of the day you have to ask yourself what is it YOU actually want
I do not think that Camposol looks run down at all. It has plenty of varying properties which, by and large, are well maintained. I can only speak for D which is where we are located and it is pleasantly quiet which is exactly what we wanted. We can sunbathe by the pool and hardly hear any noise and few cars
We can venture to the golf club or the commercial sectors when we want in less than 10 minutes for more inter action with people which we equally enjoy
But again I would say the choice is yours so you come and visit or rent for a week or so to really decide if Camposol is for you

I was told that there are pig farms nearby that stink.....Is that true, if so what sectors are they next to?
