Hi there, we have been looking at properties in sector C, my question is: what is it like living in Camposol? Initially if we do take the plunge and move there permanently, we probably wouldn't have a car. Are there local shops / markets etc. within walking distance, or transport links to the facilities?

You need a car.

Shops are available within walking distance.

No transport links or taxis.

Think if you will be without a car an alternative place to live might be better yes you can get to certain facilities but after a while you will want more and that will entail transport

Hi

Depending on where in C. Walk to B is doable where there are shops supermarket bars and restaurants. Some of the walk is uphill and some find it a struggle especially when the weather is hot and in my opinion would be too far to walk back with bags of shopping. There is a community dial a bus ride scheme that runs 3 days a week in the day. They sometimes arrange outings to places off camposol.

There is a bus that stops on A sector that will take you to the port that has a bus station where you can get buses to other parts. But again this will be quite a walk from C. There is the golf club house bar and restaurant that is based on C.

I personally would not buy there if we didnt have a car but others have and they manage. There are people that would ' give you a lift ' to A or B or the hospital etc if needed. You see quite a lot of mobility scooters going from c d up to b.

Thank you, that has been very informative.

Some on upper C have problems that are quite major issues yes.

But other sectors have issues as well with roads not being finished no street lights leaking roofs etc. This is why you really need to do your homework, visit and get a survey done.
