Things do tend to go exceedingly slow in Spain when it is holiday time, July & August. When you live here permanently you get used to this, frustrating I know.

Put my application in 10th June was told it would be back first July and I’m still waiting everything sold up done finished just waiting and waiting and waiting ☹️😉🙏🤞🤞

Our appointment was Manchester 17th June. Initially told 3 weeks and then 4-6 weeks. We’re now starting the 7th week!! The stress is a nightmare 🤣🤣😩😩

To check the actual visa status I use this website:

check your immigration status using your NIE number and D.O.B on this website. https://sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es/infoext2/index.html

We don’t have an NIE number yet but we’ll be given one with the visa. I check on the first link you posted at least 4 times a day 🤣🤣. It’s a nightmare all this waiting 😩

IKR we paid for ferry 3rd July and for two cats paid for animal health certificate etc fortunately I got a flexible ticket but can’t get the pets on now so paid £1500 for cats to go via pet transport (should have gone today ) cancelled that also paid for another animal health certificate £300 lost that again
Can’t even go over whilst we wait because the have passports

I did inbox Ray but we are waiting also. We had ours 11th July.at Manchester, We got the keys to our villa last Friday. But as we are only 3 weeks in from the appointment, it May be September by the time we'll get to Spain......... 🙄
