Opinions on opening a small grocery shop & a bar on sector D?

Yes, I think that is a great idea. We have been over to view the area, with the idea of buying a property and found the "walk" too far from D to B. Not everyone drives therefore residents are "stranded" unless what they want to purchase can be delivered. Also if they want to go for a drink, there is the danger of drink driving! Or to pay for a taxi each time, which may make them anti-social. A & B would still be used!! as this is a good area for meeting people.

Yes, it would be a great idea if you could obtain the licences and planning permissions.

Opening a business in Spain is a very costly affair, and you would need different licences for each business.

If you are serious look into the legal side and ask the town hall or a solicitor for advice.

When I set up an SL company that cost me over 3000 euro without any premises.

But don't give up and I wish you all the best I am sure plenty of people will tell you it is a good idea, but will they use the facilities you are planning.

Yes good idea, but getting the right permissions in Spain is very difficult, long winded and very expensive, but i'm sure many people will wish you well.

The only commercial premises I know of on ,D is a laundry ...I don't know of any empty shops ...and the chances of you getting permission from the council to convert a villa ..into a Bar / shop would be zero...but if you do manage to open a Bar I would certainly be a regular.

I was told the laundry had closed....or is that just a Camposol rumour and I thought you was moving?

sorry for the questions, I'm just trying to get my head around the idea. sector D needs something [ I feel ] and not sure why this would be hard to do. it crates jobs, tax etc and convenience for residents to the area.

yes I have had a good response, as I feel its a great idea. but your right, you still need to get people to use it ?

don't understand its hard to convince the local authority to do this, it creates jobs, puts tax into the pot & is a convenience to the residents.

i've been told I would not be allowed to convert a villa into a business, this makes the idea even more difficult. as there are no empty shops / premises on sector D
