Pigeons droppings causing problems. - Page 2

Near my son's house there lurks a long haired ant pigeon device.  It.'s got one all seeing  eye, mangled hearing receptors, and many dings and scratches, and quite a few lumps  and bumps.  He is much loved by all the local pigeon and air rifle fanciers.  Whenever the see him the call out friendly greeting and wave their guns at him.  Some people call him battlecat.  Others are much more specific..

Shining a powerful halogen torch at the roosting pigeons at night may work, it certainly does with crows.

  I am looking for a way to scare pigeons away .can you help.

Borrow a cat?

Hanging cds around the property may work. The birds supposedly don't like the reflections from the discs

Back home we had cats coming into the garden.We bought an owl like mask with reflective eyes from a garden centre. It had a long spike & fitted in the ground we put ours in a pot.We stopped getting cats & even the wood pigeons coming in the garden.
