Post Brexit - Brits selling?
With recent events are many British selling up in Camposol? I have friends wanting to move further south and trying to gauge the market in Camposol. TIA

There are quite a few for sale. At least 2 in in our road. This is normal though and I dont think there are more because of brexit and they are selling. Lots of sold signs in mercers window yesterday.

Thank you for your reply. I have seen Mercers website and saw a lot, but was not sure if this is usual. What percentage would you say are permanent residents in Camposol?
I ask because I am thinking it is the second home owners who are more likely to sell up and I believe British are more transient, unlike Spanish second home owners who keep property in the family.
I suppose my concern is with all that is happening, I would hate for them to settle and it turn into a 'ghost town', as one pessimistic Estate Agent intimated! Hence the research.

I dont know the % of permanent owners here but there are a lot. No one we have spoken to have no plans to sell up and that includes friends and neighbours who are holiday homeowners.

No worries. We havent had any permanent closures. There are a couple of restaurants that have decided not to open until they are allowed to inside and out but the ones staying open are struggling as only 75% of terraces open but the locals are doing their very best to support them.

Camposol is mainly a British urbanisation, properties come onto the market for a variety of reasons, the population has many retirees,one person dies and the remaining person decides to ‘go home’. Solos meet someone and move away or move into their villa. People also decide that an urbanisation housing estate, isn’t for them or too far from the coast, there are so many choices very few related to Brexit. I think many thought after Brexit there would be a mass exodus giving rise to cheap property, this does not appear to have happened.

Agree, no signs of increased numbers of "se vende" boards that l have seen, in fact around us on D sector a healthy number of sold signs are up. A check on the Kyero site for Campsol properties doesn't seem to show increased numbers either.
Thank you both for your replies and opinions. Friends have now made an offer. I do hope in works for them, but think it will be rather different to what they have been used to in Catalonia.
