We are considering buying on C21, but are aware of subsidence and legal ownership issues, can anyone help with their honest opinion as we are not in a position to make expensive mistakes, your help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you

If going to buy on sector C especially higher C - get a full and thorough survey done before parting with any monies. Could be worth a visit and have a look around the sector. We bought in D29 last year - no issues.

Personally we wouldn't touch it with the preverbial barge pole🤔 but if you do then please make sure ALL papers are present and correct. Hope this helps...of course ..its only our opinon, so don't want any backlash to this post. Thanks

Not heard of subsidence in actual properties. The pavements yes that was caused by the freak and severe storm they were not laid properly. they are beautiful homes we have one and love it everyone so friendly and helpful made some fantastic friends.  Bite the bullet and go for it

It amazes me the number of people who see cheap property and want to buy without even knowing the area. There is always a reason property is cheap, visit and you will see the problems experienced, especially on Upper C. Best advice has already been given, get a good and thorough survey done.

Isn't all of your property cheap and nasty then?

I never meant to be unfair, I have asked for an honest opinion of the place and during my investigations there are definitely more negatives than positives it seems, you liked it so much that you moved on, I would consider you to be one of the lucky ones, there are lots of people that would get away from the place if they could but are stuck there. There is no value in somewhere that is likely to fall into a sink hole surely?

Yes I agree but, am a cash buyer at very reduced price. And, would consider any reasonable offer. Thanks
