Yes,

€32,270.00 seems to be the min amount plus medical insurance. It maybe that you'd need to prove yearly income rather than monies in the bank, everything is all in flux to get a firm "this is what you need" Note different regions can have different understanding of the "rules" so you'd need to m...

I thought this had to be your yearly income, not money in the bank? When I applied I had to show my bank balance for the past 3 months, with my monthly income of over €2k per month. And a bank balance of ( at the time in Murcia, it was over £5500.)

Except she had applied before the Brexit deadline. It is very confusing. I know an Australian couple, who had to prove income per month. Adding up to yearly amount of over 32k. Which is quite a bit of money.  Let us hope Boris does make a deal, but not looking hopeful by what he said this morning.

Unless you can prove you are living or have lived recently in Eire for I think 6 months may only be 3,  BUT you will not be covered by the EHIC system from Eire. You can still obtain an Irish passport due to links through family but no EHIC.

My partner gained residency a few months ago in murcia these were the requirements if you are a uk state pensioner. S1 form/ Padron + copy/passport +copy/ NIE+copy/passport size colour photo/ house deeds or 7,000 euro in bank.Did this via a solicitor as they have access to appointments which joe bloggs doesnt and they supply a translator to meet you at the police station with forms allready done were in and out in 15mins.

Once again, this was before Brexit cut off point. It is what is going to happen on Jan 1st and onward that we could really do with knowing. So you need to look at the Spanish Gov website for Shengan rules.

My daughter has recently gained residency, she has to have a monthly payment into her Spanish bank account of 800 euros and had to provide Spanish bank statements showing this. She also had to produce copies of the last 6 months U.K. bank statements to show the 800 euros was part of the private pension being paid into th3 U.K. account and transferred to Spain.

Your daughter was very fortunate to have been able to achieve her residencia before all the changes that will happen at the end of the year, when UK citizens will no longer be EU citizens.
