Hi Mandy,

Lots :-) Sectors A & B have several bars and restaurants including Chinese, Indian, Bulgarian (I think) and even a Fish and Chip shop! Also a couple of cafes serving bacon & egg breakfast with tea. There is a huge Chino that sells just about everything and a ConSum supermarket. There is a petrol station, post office, stationers, bedding, electrical, computer, internet provider, insurance, chemist, English Shop, estate agents, hardware store, butchers and hairdressers.

There is no bus service on Camposol only a bus from A sector to Mazarron.

To survive here you need a car.

Sector A seems finished now and I believe is now a working entity .Of most the sectors it's the probably the best for getting to the shops and resturants .I have been coming here 10years and besides the tidying up from the garden groups I have seen little in the way of all the other sectors being maintained .There are various reasons for this not happening ,but in my view I can't see anything changing in the next 10years .So probably sector A a good bet.If you live on Camposol you do need a car to get about. A real plus on Camposol is it has a good friendly community spirit ,Mostly English but a splattering of other nationalities also.just be careful you don't buy in the wrong area, and if it's cheap there is usually a reason.I think most questions have been answered about camposol .Id go through the timeline discussions to see if you can find the answers you are looking for.If not feel free to contact me.

I would say that the main shopping is on Sector B. There are bars, restaurants and some shops on A but the main supermarket, the garage and far more pubs and restaurants are on B

You can walk from A to B (there is a bridge over the motorway) but there are no buses on Camposol so I would say that you definitely need a car - it just gives you that much more flexibility to get to the coast or the Port for example

Not aware of any buses or taxis on Camposol at all. however, there are a number of "unofficial" people who will provide a taxi service to the port for Euro 25. They will collect as well but the taxi's from the Port are only Euro 35 if you do not want to giver yourself a set time to come back

Lovely day out with shopping, beaches, bars, boat trips, restaurants etc. and a massive market on Sundays
