The new shopping / commercial centre in the Port of Mazarron.

I’ve heard there is going to be a fast food place there & perhaps Burger King as they are more popular in Spain than McDonald’s apparently - don’t know about a cinema.

Was wondering if anyone had an update on the shops that will be there. Certain I saw something about Zara but wondered what else may be there. Any ideas...?

Heard it is going to be a mini mall, carrfour, Burger King, poss primary do not think it is a good idea myself as we do have a lot of local facilities.

I like the idea as that becomes the closest to Camposol and should boost visitors to the Port. Just depends on the type of shops so a Primark would certainly pull in the punters but would have little impact in terms of extra traffic or anything on Camposol

Clearly the Murcia council is seeing the impact that Corvera can have and is trying to ensure they put themselves in a good place ready for the perceived expansion in the area

McDonald's, Burger King, KFC??? Junk food is killing a generation. Obesity choking the Health Services. Eat healthy!!!! 

No I agree I do brief shops In all the stores but like the small shops in Isla Plana but I get all fresh fruit and vegetables from market. large store is going to be a new  Mercadona so I have been informed like one in Mazzaron but until signs go up we won’t hold our breath?

I've been informed that Mercadonna will take one of the big plots. Fast food shops can go somewhere else. Have them on Camposol if you want them, I prefer the Port to stay predominately Spanish, which was the attraction to buy a house there. The new Aldis doesn't seem as popular as Lidl's.

I agree about Aldis, but I never knew until recently that Lidyls and Aldis were owned buy two German brothers who fell out, one sold to the other then that one opened the other store, Aldis is to small plus the extra time to go down to the roundabout before coming back up again is a pain. If Mercadona is going into the big building on the right it could end up being a nightmare, but who will take on the old place? I go as much as I can to the deli and bakery in Isla Plana to support our local shops and I am a regular in Jaimes pintura next the WOK. I haven’t been in yet as I never realised that it existed is the garden centre next to the new builds I should imagine that it’s trade has increased?
