Hi,regarding cars from U.K. with English registration plates.At the moment,if you are a Non Resident how long can the car come over here for.Is it 6 months,or can you stop all year,then go back to U.K. for MOT,then back again.l say no more than 6 month,but a friend tells me a year.Any links would help to look at.Thanks,
So,would it be possible to come here with car,say for 2 month then fly back leaving the car here then come back 6 month later for 4 month?So,the car would not be on the road here,or is it 6 month for the car when it lands in Spain.Confused!

personally I would not like to leave car parked on the road ...I have seen quite a few UK plated cars parked up in the secure parking at Alicante..so I guess the owners must be leaving the car for long periods and on returning take the car and use it for the duration ...I don't see any problems with this as you are not using the car and it's park in a secure off road parking area...just make sure you have a full years MOT on the car as you can't get a UK plated car MOTd in Spain..Tax & insurance can be done on line... enjoy.
