Walk from d to shops in b

Depends how fit you are & the temperature at the time.

It also depends where you are on D. It is a big sector and up to 20 mins difference. It is not a journey you want to make in July or August due to the temperatures. I have walked the journey a couple of times and took about 45 mins at a brisk pace from the very far end of D. Living on D, you would really need a car, or other transport or you may be pretty isolated. Good luck with your plans

We have walked in October from B21 to D26.. I am not the fastest and it took us 50mins.

Hope this is hepfull....its not something I would recommend in the heat of july /August .

Not something to recommend especially if you are going to buy anything. In the heat it takes longer and certain foodstuff will simply melt

Please could anyone tell me rough distance from far end of D to shops

I would say about 8 minutes in a car at average speed 

As you dont say what method of transport...here is two.

Walking 50 mins 

Car 10 mins

There are people with buggies that do the journey but I don't know how long that takes.

It’s exactly 3.2km (or 2 miles) from the end of D22 to the golf clubhouse. Probably the same from the clubhouse the the shops and bars on B.
