Hi Folks,

Looking for some advice before we purchase a home here, how long is the walk to amenities on both A and B from sector C, and to the clubhouse please. Also is there any restrictions on putting in a pool on C. Finally can anyone advise if villas here rent out well to holiday makers??

Thanks in advance

Mary

Hi mary its a half hour walk from lower C to the shops my partner does it most days,to the club house its 5 mins .As regards installing a pool if you can get a property that has one already as its quite expensive having one put in .The area has not been adopted by the council and is unlikely to be for several years by the looks of it so in theory you cant install a pool yet but as this is spain no one seems to take much notice of that the amount of builders vans flying around camposol is testament to that! Someone else may be able to answer your question about renting out ,from my own standpoint camposol is basically in the middle of nowhere 15mins to nearest beach so a car is essential ,not sure it would appeal to a holiday maker more likely would suite someone for long term rent but of course that would limit your available time there.cheers

Hi Mdolly111, the times mentioned by orac are roughly correct, depending on your fitness level. I would also recommend having transport here too. Regarding rental, I don't know as we only use ours for holidays. I do know there are more and more rentals appearing and even more requests on various sites looking to rent. So good luck, it could work. We got approval and licence granted for our pool a number of years ago AND had a visit from a town hall clerk to make sure it was installed as per plan. It's much easier however, buying a property with a pool if you find the right house because it can turn out to be an expensive purchase. Just need to find a good installer.....👍

Hi, if you are looking to be within a ten min. walk to shopping, bars and restaurants, then I would suggest A or B sectors. These are the areas that have more to offer in that respect. However, bear in mind that these can get quite busy in the summer so the noise level rises at times, depending on the proximity of your property. Many people prefer to be in these areas as you don’t really need a car for getting back and forth unless of course you want to explore further afield..Good luck in finding your “ideal”.....👍

Do your research on letting properties in Spain.

Not as simple as you think as your property has to be inspected, approved & registered.

Quite a long complicated procedure.

The penalties for not complying are in the ten's of thousands of euro's.

I can't drive so we bought on A...5 minute walk to all the amenities on A and less than 10 minutes to all those on B . Great place to live 😊
